How to Start Your Fitness Journey
Step 1:
Get up
Set 2:
Put on some clothes you can workout in.
Setp 3:
Put on your shoes, grab a water bottle, and grab your keys.
Step 4:
Gym Version: Drive to your gym.
Home Version: If you are doing at home workouts, go to your living room or wherever you want to work out.
Step 5:
Gym Version: In the parking lot of the gym, go on your gym’s website and sign up for a free trial. You can also go in and do this at the front desk. Then, If you don’t know what workouts to do, go to the previous page and check out my “4-Week Beginner Workout Plan” gym edition.
Home version: Check out my “4-Week Beginner Workout Plan” home edition.
Step 6:
Before starting your main workout, do some stretches to warm up.
Step 7:
Start your workout.
Honestly, sometimes the hardest part for me is just putting on my gym fit and walking out the door—or getting up from my cozy bed and going to the living room if I’m doing an at home workout—but once I do that, it’s game.
Also remember:
It takes months to see results. Be patient and keep working hard.
Consistency always beats having motivation when it comes to working out.
